Description: Inter-House Debate - "Is CUET a Boon or a Bane?" On 28 April 2025, WhiteHall, Lamachaur hosted Inter-House Debate Competition on the pertinent topic, "Is CUET a Boon or a Bane?". Teams from Falcon, Eagle, Lion and Tiger houses actively participated, presenting compelling arguments both for and against the Common University Entrance Test. The proposition argued CUET offers a fairer platform, reduces board exam pressure and coaching dependence, simplifies admissions, and promotes merit. Conversely, the opposition highlighted concerns about increased competition, potential for rote learning, implementation challenges, and disadvantages for underprivileged students. The debate witnessed sharp rebuttals and insightful analysis from all participants. The judges evaluated the teams on their clarity, logic, persuasion, and presentation. Eagle House emerged as the winner, with Tiger House securing the second position. Mrs M. Erickson(Director), commended all participants for their engaging debate and insightful perspectives on this crucial educational issue. The event successfully fostered critical thinking and articulate expression among students.
